In the deep forests around Lake Wörthersee lived a mischievous creature known as the “Wörtherseemandl Gralf”. This cheeky little fellow threatened the people in the area with capricious pranks unless they paid him tribute. But the brave inhabitants of the region refused to be intimidated and decided to stand up to the Wörtherseemandl. The locals were led by current UCI Gravel World Champion Johnny Hoogerland, who has settled on Lake Wörthersee after his World Tour career.
